Need to be pro-American

I want to give you my impression of the article submitted by Gabriella Giffords.

That was more smoke than I could tolerate or have seen for a long time from a politician.

It was great cover for doing nothing when the citizens of this country are suffering greatly from illegal immigration (not immigration), drugs coming from and through Mexico, gas prices and the mortgage crisis.

This Congress has a 9 percent approval rating ( one person commented that they must have large families or it would not be that high) and the Democrats have done nothing but obstruct any progress that might have been made in those areas.

It appears that the Democrats want the economy to stay bad until the election and the Republicans want to show a great push for things they know the Democrats won’t let happen.

We need to really think about replacing many of our elected officials with those that are pro-American and not bound at the hip to the parties.

To qualify what I mean be pro-American: One that supports the majority of the citizens, will secure the border so we can remain a sovereign state and one who will obey the laws of this country and not ignore or change there intent for the benefit of some group or other influence.
