Obituariesa Green Valley resident for 22 years, formerly from Colorado, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2008. Guy was born to Harriet W. and Guy A. Bigelow Sr. in Pueblo, Colo. He graduated from Pueblo Central High School in 1944 and enlisted in the Army Air Corps. After discharge, he attended the University of Colorado. In his job with the Rio Grande Railroad in Grand Junction Colorado, he met and married Mable, his wife of almost 56 years (Aug. 3). After many job related moves with Westinghouse Electric, Guy took a job with Stone and Webster, returning to Denver, Colo. Guy retired in 1985. In 1986, he and Mable moved to Green Valley where he was active in the Canoa Ridge Homeowners Association. He was also active at his church. Guy is survived by his wife Mable; daughter Carol (Jim) Smith of Colorado; son Roger (Susan) of Massachusetts; and three grandchildren Sarah Smith, Kayti Bigelow, and Thomas Bigelow. Services will be at 2 p.m. at Evangelical Free Church of Green Valley on Monday, July 28, 2008. Internment will be at a later date at Ft. Logan National Cemetery, Denver, Colorado. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Evangelical Free Church of Green Valley, 1392 W. Mission Twin Buttes Road, Green Valley, AZ 85633 or Odyssey Healthcare, 1730 E.
