LettersEditor: The GV Weavers and Spinners Guild, Tucson Handweavers and Spinners Guild, and GV Old Pueblo Knitters Guild express their thanks to everyone at the GV News and Sahuarita Sun, especially Pat Rueter, Karen Walenga, and Ellen Sussman, freelance writer, for their wonderful publicity of the Fiber Ranch Event at the GV Library, Sat. July 12. Attendance hit the 200-plus mark. The ranch exhibit takes the guilds toward a higher level of outreach and education: THSG Spinning Study Group’s Ranch plans to go to other Pima County libraries and GVWS will consider further involvement in more outreach and teaching in cooperation with the library and the school district. As an extra bonus, the Joyner-Green Valley Library added many new patrons. There was a increased number of requests for new library cards! Everyone involved was a pleasure to work with. We thank all the public that attended. Thank you, Wilma Myers, GV Weavers and Spinners Guild, Event Coordinator
