The newly formed Sahuarita Art Guild is looking for enthusiastic members. The guild’s goals are to support local artists through exhibits, shows and demonstrations. Saturday Breast Cancer Survivors support group meets at 11:30 a.m. in the conference room of St. Francis-in-the-Valley Episcopal Church, 600 La Canada Drive. Ice Cream Social from 2 to 5 p.m. at Triple Play in Sahuarita will benefit the Teacher Wish List Fund created by the Green Valley Sahuarita Chamber of Commerce, Green Valley Rotary Foundation and WGVY. All proceeds from the $5 admission will go to the fund. Ice cream from Safeway and Kelly’s; free passes for one round of golf for four during the social courtesy of Triple Play. The Wish List Fund reimburses teachers for the classroom supplies they buy out of their own pockets.
