Workshop to address foreclosure crisis

Pima County Supervisor Ramon Valdez and Tucson City Council member Steve Leal will speak Saturday at a seminar on the foreclosure crisis.

The four-hour “Facing Foreclosure: Roadmap to Solutions” starts at 9 a.m. at the El Pueblo Neighborhood Center, 101 W. Irvington Rd.

The workshop is designed to help attendees work with mortgage counselors and lenders in saving their homes from foreclosure.

Topics, which will be offered in English and Spanish, to be covered include crisis budgeting, understanding mortgage loans, options to keeping your home, life after foreclosure and mortgage fraud.
