The first in a series of classes on Essential Oils will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Unity in the Valley, 17630 Las Quintas, Sahuarita (across from Anamax Park.) Topics will include New Oils from Ecuador; balancing hormones, and nutrition tips. Gael Chilson, practitioner of aroma therapy for more than 10 years, will lead the classes. Family Storytime at 6 p.m. at the Joyner-Green Valley Library for all ages. Stories, songs, rhymes and crafts. Also July 8, 15, 22, and 29.

Tucson Mountains Football Club will be hosting tryouts for the upcoming season for boys U-19 soccer team at 6 p.m. at Madera Highlands recreational sports complex. July 19

Theodore Roosevelt Golf Tournament will be hosted by three Green Valley area Republican clubs at Quail Creek Country Club. John Munger, former chairman of the Pima County Republican Party and potential candidate for governor in 2010, will be the keynote speaker of the luncheon after the tournament.
