NewsThe Green Valley Mall is hosting its first Dawg Days of Summer on Thursday, June 26. There will be tons of fun for you and your pets. Kiddie pools will be full water and fun for the doggies to cool down. The Animal League of Green Valley will be on hand with information and pets available for adoption. Student volunteers will be washing dogs for donations from 9:30 a.m. to noon. All donations raised from the dog washing will go directly to the TALGV. The Pima County Sheriff s Office will have a K-9 unit on hand to answer questions and visit with you. Stop and visit with the representatives from Equine Recline, horse rescue, rehabilitation and retirement. Find out about the organization and help support their efforts with horse rescue. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Greens restaurant will have hot dogs for a sizzling summer sale price of $1. The Kokopelli Gelato cart will have cool gelatos for sale. Receive a free dog biscuit with each gelato purchase. Look for the full-page ad today’s issue of the Green Valley News for a chance to win hundreds of dollars in prizes. Clip coupons from the mall’s Sunday ad and drop them in the fishbowls at participating mall merchants for a chance to win dozens of prizes worth hundreds of dollars.
