AristoCare promotes 2 managers

Steve Brean, LPN, formerly Branch Manager of AristoCare Green Valley, has been promoted to Area Marketing Director.

Brean will operate out of the main Tucson office and is responsible for marketing operations in Tucson, Green Valley, Nogales and Sierra Vista.

Ruth Maloblocki, RN, MSN, takes over as Branch Manager for AristoCare’s Green Valley office. Maloblocki was Director of Nursing for Tucson operations, and remains the coordinator for the Certified Nursing Assistant program at AristoCare.

Mature Worker Program continues to advance

The Green Valley area Mature Worker Program continues to grow.

As of the end of April, the program has registered 162 employers, who have posted 127 jobs, and placed 28 job seekers in new jobs.

The Mature Worker Program is the result of a joint effort between the Green Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Pima Council on Aging’s Mature Worker Connection.

The program assists residents over 50 years of age in finding meaningful, paid employment.

Job seekers are interviewed and classified by One Stop Center personnel and then linked to appropriate employers for further action. Individual employers then conduct interviews with qualified candidates.

Toll Brothers open new model homes

Toll Brothers is introducing two new model homes in the gated community of Madera Highlands in Sahuarita.

The Cantabria is a 2,925-square-foot, four-bedroom design, and the Vicanto model contains 4,030 square feet of living area. Toll brothers offers three additional models at the Madera Highlands site.

Home Loan Executives celebrates anniversary

June 3 marked the 10th anniversary of Home Loan Executives in Green Valley.

Opening in June of 1988 as Charter Funding, the firm moved to its current location in the Continental Plaza in 2001.

Irene Mattingly heads up the Green Valley office. Working with Irene is Steve Oesterle (senior loan officer), Kevin McAree (reverse mortgage specialist) and Nancy Roodhouse (loan processor).

La Posada board adds new member

Robert Porterfield, former Industrial Engineer with expertise in Materials Management with several leading Fortune 500 Corporations has been named to the La Posada Board of Trustees.

An active member of the Pasadera Home Owners Association and GVR Board, Porterfield currently serves on the Community Performing Arts Board. La Posada’s Board of Trustees is comprised of community volunteers from the Greater Green Valley area and serves the 750 residents of the La Posada community.
