Gospel Ministries director to preach

Cornerstone Baptist Church, 18280 S. La Canada Drive, Sahuarita, will host Dr. David Shumate and family on Sunday, June 8, in its 10:45 a.m. and 6 p.m. worship services.

He has been the general director of Mission Gospel Ministries International (formerly Mexican Gospel Mission) in Phoenix since November 2005.

He holds a law degree from Harvard (1986), where he met his wife Linda and where they both accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior.

David and Linda now work together in the ministry of MGMI and also serve in the Hispanic church Iglesia Evangelica in Phoenix.

Sunday’s services will include Bible-based preaching with congregational singing and much special music, both vocal and instrumental.

A children’s church is held during the 10:45 a.m. morning worship service, and the infant nursery is available during all services.
