Guest Comment: Illegal immigrants threaten our safety

About my neighbors, legal and illegal: I live in Desert Hills V, moved here in 2006. My house is at the end of the cul de sac, right above the landing spot of illegals .

A great friend and neighbor (cannot reveal his name as the Coyotes have threatened him) made sense of the first home invasion. About 3 a.m., there was a man in my back yard cutting my irrigation lines to get water.

My friend informs me that this behavior is going on in DHV and DHIV.

He took me to the landing spot where trash was abundant, a chair to sit on, beer bottles scattered around, and a pile of new clothing and shoes.

This “gathering spot” is where the Mexicans are illegally crossing the border. They change, get water and make a 3 a.m. travel to the two churches that are taking them in, feeding them, and giving them sanctuary until the next action which is to transport them into Tucson, Phoenix and in general: “into our population and unrecognizable as illegals.”

Not only trashing Mother Earth makes me angry, but the way the illegals get in and are given sanctuary is very annoying.

The next invasion was the same as the first. The third invasion was to try and get into my home.

Thanks to my dog, Pippen — she scared him away.

Another neighbor says at 3 a.m. between his home and my next door neighbor’s backyard is where there is a nice trail that takes them closer to the churches.

He says all night long he can hear them passing by, some with clubs, some with — dare we say it, guns.

The sad fact is that my next-door neighbors knew nothing of this.

They don’t know of the gathering spot, nor do they know about the areas near the water tank where the illegals sit waiting to get to the churches all the while covered by trees, shrubs, etc.

After these facts, I was forced to look at their trash, the markers they leave for each other to get into Green Valley illegally. I am against this.

I hope others will feel as I do, lock up tight, and do not help them one bit.

They are breaking the laws of citizenship, and harming our land.

Finally, there is a neighbor who watches this and “does not get involved.”

The report to the Border Patrol is not made, nor to the sheriff.

It was reported that illegals walk that path because “no one cares if they do, because: they do not want to get involved.”

PS; May 24. My dog woke me at 3 a.m. with screams at the window. Sure enough, another one is in my yard and several more are passing through the alley.

I let my dog do her job: she scared them away.

PS; May 28. And just last night the illegals challenged my dog. My dog won.
