HAROLD MARION MELVIN
went home to be with the Lord on May 26, 2008, after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was a loving and devoted husband who will be missed dearly by Gerry, his wife of 52 years. A caring and dedicated father to Kayrene and Billy Hodges, Scott and Shauna Melvin and Jennifer and John Manchester II and a wonderful and special grandfather to Shannon and Anthony Rosales, Kelly Hodges, Ryan and Megan Hodges of California, Christopher Westin of Oklahoma and Brianna and Jessica Melvin of Sahuarita. Also loved by sisters Alice “Lorraine” Meadows of Green Valley and KayRene (Don) Toothman of West Virginia.
He was a member of Green Valley Community Church who enjoyed traveling, bingo, Starbucks, SF 49er football and living in Arizona close to family.
A memorial service will be held at Green Valley Community Church on Monday, June 2, 2008, at 1 p.m.
