LORRAINE M. KASTNING,

born July 25, 1925, to Otto and Laura Goeddeke in Illinois, passed away May 11, 2008.

She is survived by her three daughters Beverly Trunick, Dar (Mike) Beck and Barbara Christenson. She has six grandchildren, Ron (Dina) Trunick, Wendy Trunick, Erin (Jim) Spray, Ryan (Erica) Christenson, Tanner Morgan and Tyler Morgan. There are also three great-grandchildren and a fourth on the way.

Two brothers, Ray (Emily) and Arnold (Barbara), preceded Lor in death. Lor is also survived by brothers Harvey (Verna) and Harold (Delores), and three sisters Ethel Horn, Marion (Hank) Lagerhausen and Evelyn (Jack) Brandt.

Lorraine was still grieving the loss of her husband Erv, who passed away on March 28 of this year. They were married in Itasca, Ill. on May 20, 1944. They lived in Illinois until 1996, when they moved to Green Valley for the winter months and spent their summers in the mountains of Pinetop.

Lorraine spent many years working with Erv at his State Farm Insurance agency and was adored by everyone. They were inseparable and their daughters get comfort from knowing they are together again.

Not only was she an amazing mother to her three daughters, she was also a dear friend to them. Always making herself available to lend an ear or offer support,

Lorraine’s warm and mild mannered spirit was unparalleled. She was a very loving and caring grandmother who adored being surrounded by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Family was very important to her and she would do anything for any one of them. She lived a very happy and fulfilling life and truly brought great joy to both friends and family.

The entire family will forever miss Lor and will always carry the fond, loving memories of her in their hearts.

A celebration of life will be held at Valley Presbyterian Church on Monday, May 19,, 2008, at 2 p.m. in the Valley Spiritual Life Center, 2800 S. Camino del Sol, Green Valley. Services will also be held in Bensenville, Ill. on Saturday, May 24.
