BRUCE G. ERICKSON passed away May 2, 2008,

in Green Valley.

He was born Jan. 25, 1920, in St. Joe, Ind. to Archie and Mary Erickson. He was preceded in death by a son Neil and a brother Frank.

He is survived by Marlene, his wife of 36 years; son Bruce; daughter Anne; and three grandchildren.

After graduating from high school in Clarksburg, W.V., he attended the University of West Virginia where he studied electrical and mechanical engineering. He was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and played in the university band.

He served in the U.S. Army during WWII and received the rank of 1st Lieutenant.

He then worked for National Security Agency at Ft. Meade, Md. for 28 years. While there, he received many awards for his extraordinary performance and accomplishments.

After retiring from NSA, he and his wife lived in California and Colorado before moving to Green Valley in 1999.

He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
