Scandinavian Group meets at 5 p.m. at Desert Hills Lutheran Church’s Fellowship Hall. Bring a dish to pass to serve 8 to 10 and table service. Green Valley Branch No. 77, Fleet Reserve Association, will have special luncheon meeting at 11:30 a.m. at the Cow Palace in Amado. There will be an installation of officers. National President Larry Boudreaux will be the installing officer. There also will be an award in the Annual Americanism Essay Contest. Active duty, reserve, retired personnel, and honorably discharged former members of all services who have had some enlisted service and their spouses are welcome.
