Jane Lobdell Pynnonen,

formerly of Lathrup Village, Mich. and Green Valley, died peacefully surrounded by her family May 1, 2008, following a lengthy illness. Jane was born in Onaway, Mich. Beloved wife of Donald of 57 years. Dear mother of Jeff Pynnonen, Linda Sandvik (David), Susan Bernardo (Tony), Mary Pynnonen-Rocco (David), Elizabeth Gowland (Russell), and Edward Pynnonen (Anne). Loving grandmother to Blake Pynnonen; Lars, Elizabeth, and Christine Sandvik; David and James Bernardo; Devin and Derek Rocco; Bradford and Katherine Gowland; Charlie, Grace, and John Pynnonen. Dearest sister of Elizabeth Binks. Proceeded in death by brother Terry Lobdell.

Jane was a gracious lady who enjoyed all of her 87 summers at Black Lake, Mich., making many wonderful memories with family and friends. She was a warm hostess who always had room at her table for a few more guests. Jane will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Visitation was Tuesday, May 6, with service following at Northbrook Presbyterian Church, Beverly Hills, Mich. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Friends of Bonz and Stewart Beach Scholarship Fund or the charity of your choice.
