It is with regret that we announce

the death of MAXINE EVELYN HALEY, 90, on Monday, March 31, 2008.

Maxine, residing at LaPosada Healthcare the past several years, was the widow of George A. Haley, her beloved husband of 57 years. She also leaves her two daughters, Jo Ann Haley of Portland, Ore. and Judy Haley Dawkins of Charleston, S.C.; her grandson David Matthew Dawkins; and her two great-grandsons Matthew George Dawkins and Jackson Brice Dawkins, also of Charleston.

She will be missed by her many duplicate bridge friends, her PEO sisters, and the numerous friends made since moving to Green Valley in the 1980s. George and Maxine’s retirement years were filled with fun and activities, friends and laughter - but we take joy that they are reunited in heaven forever.

Services will be private among the family.
