Fundraiser to be held for hairdresser Saturday

Experiences Salon & Spa is holding a fundraiser Saturday to help a hairdresser undergoing medical treatment. The benefit will be held at Experiences, 90 West Calle de las Tiendas, Suite 250, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

It will feature a bake sale, 50/50 drawing and silent auction.

Library shows part two of ‘History of Water’

The second segment of “A Journey in the History of Water” will be shown Saturday at the Joyner-Green Valley Library at 9:30 a.m. Admission is free.

Kyl aide to be in Green Valley

A member of Sen. Jon Kyl’s staff will be in Green Valley on Thursday, April 17, to hear residents’ problems with Social Security, Veterans Administration, or other federal agencies.

Melissa Martin, a staff assistant in Kyl’s Tucson office, will be at the Green Valley Community Coordinating Council offices in the Green Valley Mall from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
