Bashas’ named one of the ‘Best Places to Work’

Bashas’ family of grocery stores has been selected as one of the best places to work in Arizona by the Phoenix Business Journal.

This is the second consecutive year that the grocery firm has been recognized for its positive work environment.

The award is based solely on employee survey results, which measured their opinions regarding the work environment, opportunities for personal growth, people practices, and how the company embraces innovation.

Bashas’ currently employs over 13,000 workers in Arizona, California, and New Mexico.

CBr’s Stonebrook wins excellence award


Beth Stonebrook of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage has been awarded the “Real Estate Online Marketing Award of Excellence by Max Pigman, vice president for REALTOR .com¨.

The excellence award was presented to Stonebrook at a recent real estate marketing and technology seminar.

The Internet has increased the opportunities for Real Estate agents to present their homes to potential buyers.

“My seller clients appreciate how I can help bring more attention to the unique selling attributes of their home and ultimately attract more qualified buyers.” Stonehouse said.

The Award of Excellence recognizes top agents who consistently provide great marketing services on behalf of their buyers and sellers.

Vargas-Oshaben joins Dental Artistry

Green Valley’s Dental Artistry has added Beatriz Vargas-Oshaben, D.D.S. to its staff.

.Most recently from Houston, Texas, Dr. Vargas-Oshaben received her D.D.S. degree from the University of Texas, and her BS in Biology from the University of Houston. Dr. Vargas-Oshaben owned a private practice in Houston for nine years.

A resident of Sahuarita, she is a General Dentist and is particularly adept at working with children and preventative, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry.

Progressive PT adds 2, expands services

Progressive Physical Therapy of Green Valley has announced two new wellness services and practitioners for their clientele. Cora Jacobson, L.M.T., is a Massage Therapist specializing in Shiatsu, myofascial release, deep tissue and Swedish massage. Soraya Mohammadpour, B.A., Joins Progressive Physical Therapy as a Personal and Pilates trainer. Both are available by appointment.

Progressive Physical Therapy will also be opening a new facility in Green Valley in the winter of 2008.

Broker/Owner earns U.S., international award

Peter Dulka, Broker/Owner of RE/MAX Valley Properties in Green Valley has been recognized as the No. 1 office in Net Agent Increase for small markets in the U.S. and worldwide. The award was presented by Dave Linger, RE/MAX International chairman, at the RE/MAX International Convention and Sales Meeting held recently in Las Vegas. Dulka was selected from a number of RE/MAX Broker/Owners in the U.S. and internationally and is the only broker in the RE/MAX network to receive this award.

GV Cooling ,Heating wins 4th Medal of Excellence

Ethan Beneze, owner of Green Valley Cooling and Heating Inc., accepted a fourth Medal of Excellence from Bryant Heating and Cooling Systems at a recent national meeting in Scottsdale.

In addition, Green Valley Cooling and Heating Inc. was one of only 15 companies nominated for Bryant’s Dealer of the Year award. Beneze attributes his success to the Green Valley Cooling and Heating team.

“It is quite an honor to win this award again. I attribute it to my team achieving a 99.5 percent rating in total customer satisfaction from Bryant customer surveys,” he said.
