Quail Creek GOP plans Elephant Walk

Quail Creek Republican Club will be hosting an Elephant Walk at 1 p.m. April 27.

State, county and local candidates will be hosted in homes of Quail Creek residents. Voters will have the ability to move freely among the homes to talk with the candidates.

Candidates participating include state Sen. Tim Bee, who’s challenging Gabrielle Giffords, D-Ariz., for her congressional seat, and state Rep. Jonathan Paton, who’s hoping to succeed Bee in the State Senate.

Also scheduled to appear are Legislative District 30 candidates Frank Antenori, Sharon Collins, David Gowan and Doug Sposito, County Attorney candidate Brad Roach, County Supervisor Ray Carroll, County Sheriff candidate Harry Shaw, County School Superintendent Linda Arzoumanian, Corporation Commission candidates Rick Fowlkes, Keith Swapp, Joe Hobbs, Marian McClure, Bob Stump and Bob Robson.

Local residents are invited. To attend, call Christi Tucker at 207-5754 or arrive at the Madera Clubhouse parking lot in Quail Creek between 1 p.m.-1:15 p.m.
