Wonderful facility

I want to tell you all about the wonderful facility you have, right here in Green Valley.

For the past 17 months, I have made my home at Santa Rita Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, on La Canada. This is a wonderful place, and people living in and around Green Valley should be very proud to have such a facility located in our community.

If you want compassion and understanding, just come to Santa Rita and see, for yourself, how loving and caring the staff is. Everyone puts the needs of the residents first, before anything else. I have had staff members come in, for no obvious reason at all, just to see that I’m all right and to ask if I need anything.

While I’m sure the administrator of the facility, Damacio Marquez, is a very capable businessman, my admiration goes out to him because he is not above pitching in when there is a need. He pushes wheelchairs, helps serve in the dining room if necessary, goes out of his way to talk with the residents. He listens to everyone, and seems to care about everyone. I hear the staff talking and they all have such nice things to say — not only about the administrator, but also about the facility. It is clean, and the food is good and well presented.

At Santa Rita everyone takes the time and effort necessary to ensure that everyone, whether long or short term, is well taken care of. We should all be grateful that Santa Rita Nursing and Rehabilitation is located right here.
