Southern Gospel Night: Amado Baptist Church members will provide Southern Gospel Music at Casa de Esperanza Community Center on Friday, April 4. Admission free. Gospel Rescue Mission: On Saturday, April 5, there will be an open house at the Gospel Rescue Mission’s new Women and Children’s Transitional Home. Anytime between 10 a.m. at 2 p.m. at 2909 N. 15th Ave. (a block south of Miracle Mile behind the Wayward Winds motel), Tucson. Parking is limited. Please find it on the street. Human Rights Forum: Church Women United of Tucson are sponsoring “Building a World Fit for Children” on April 14, starting at 9 a.m. at Lutheran Church of the Foothils, ELCA, 5102 N. Craycroft, north of River Road. Milton Schwebel, PhD, professor emeritus, Rutgers University, will discuss the impact of war on children and the United Nations convention on the rights of the child.
