ColumnsThe following is taken from the Arizona Revised Statutes 28-721. Driving on right side of roadway; exceptions: 1. When overtaking and passing another vehicle proceeding in the same direction under the rules governing the movement. 2. When the right half of a roadway is closed to traffic while under construction or repair. 3. On a roadway divided into three marked lanes for traffic under the rules applicable on the roadway. 4. On a roadway designated and sign posted for one-way traffic. By driving in the right lane you also eliminate the problem of not seeing another vehicle in your right side blind spot. Watch for my next RULES of the ROAD, and practice driving in the correct lane. Paul Kline is a member of the Sheriff's Auxiliary volunteers in Green Valley.
