New rector begins at St. Francis-in-the-Valley

Terri C. Pilarski is the new rector of St. Francis-in-the-Valley Episcopal Church in Green Valley, filling the vacancy left by the retirement of Father Ted Holt.

The Rev. Pilarski and her family recently moved to Green Valley from Prospect Heights, Ill., where she was rector of St. Hilary’s Episcopal Church.

She is a graduate of Seabury-Western Theological Seminary and holds a Masters of Social Work from Loyola University.

Diocese of Arizona Bishop Kirk Smith will officiate at an installation ceremony to be held at the church in November.

St. Francis-in-the-Valley is at 600 S. La Canada Drive. Eucharistic services are each Wednesday at 9 a.m. and on Sunday at 8 and 10 a.m.
