Case activity in the Pima County Justice Court, Precinct 7, for the week ending 03.07.08:

Traffic/Civil Complaints:

A charge of unsafe lane change against Thomas Nelson, 38, of Green Valley, was dismissed on a factual basis.

Charges of disorderly conduct and possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia against Lee Wyckoff, 58, of Tucson, were dismissed on a factual basis.

A charge of failing to produce evidence of financial responsibility against Eduardo Lopez, 30, of Amado, was dismissed on a factual basis.

Charges of multiple beam road lighting equipment and a modified exhaust system against Shane Schilling, 19, of Vail, were dismissed on a factual basis.


Thomas Kay, 65, of Arivaca, was found responsible for illegal window tinting, failing to stay within the traffic lane and no left mud flap and was fined $50, $155 and $50 respectively.

Frederick Musk, 48, of Amado, pleaded responsible for fictitious plates and was fined $606.

Eric Laster, 47, of Tucson, pleaded responsible for open container of spiritous liquor in vehicle compartment and was fined $200.

J. Cruz Acosta Gacilia, 40, of Banning, Calif., pleaded responsible for false logbook entry and was fined $600.

Abelardo Ramirez, 40, of Tucson, pleaded responsible for permitting unauthorized minor to drive and was fined $227.

Raquel Pantages, 21, of Rio Rico, pleaded responsible for no valid operator’s license and was fined $85.

Jesus Flores, 28, of Tucson, pleaded responsible for no valid license and was fined $165.

Idalza Ramirez, 22, of Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico, pleaded responsible for no valid license and was fined $85.

Fernando Avila, 46, of Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico, pleaded responsible for no valid license and was fined $114.

Alejandro Medina, 36, of Tucson, pleaded responsible for failing to produce evidence of financial responsibility and was fined $114.

Octavio Leyva, 34, of Nogales, Sonora, Mexico, pleaded responsible for no proof of insurance and was fined $114.

Elena Navarro, 44, of Sahuarita, pleaded responsible for driving on a suspended license and was fined $165.

Arturo Serrano, 30, of Tucson, pleaded responsible for two separate counts of no valid license and was fined $165 on each count.

Rubin Molina-Fuentes, 18, of Tucson, pleaded responsible for failing to change lanes when appropriate and failing to provide evidence of financial responsibility and was fined $135 and $114 respectively.

Juan Mendoza, 42, of Nogales, pleaded responsible for failing to obtain a current Arizona registration and was fined $85.

Enrique Del Toro, 45, of Tucson, pleaded responsible for failing to obtain a current Arizona registration and was fined $85.

Archie Tamplin, 49, of Tucson, pleaded responsible for no current registration and was fined $85.

Raul Figueroa Jr., 22, of Tucson, pleaded responsible for failing to obtain a current Arizona registration and failing to obtain an Ariz. driver’s license and was fined $85 on each charge.

David Sosa, 28, of Rio Rico, pleaded responsible for failing to obtain a current Arizona registration and no proof of insurance and was fined $85 and $114.

Raymundo Barcelo, 30, of Tucson, pleaded responsible for no proof of financial responsibility and no current Arizona registration and was fined $114 and $114 respectively.

Sharrie Bigalow, 57, of Green Valley, pleaded responsible for wasting finite resources and was fined $47.

Vincente Morganti, 99, of Rochester, Mich., pleaded responsible for wasting finite resources and was fined $47.

Jorge Leyva, 24, of Nogales, pleaded responsible for driving on a suspended license and for speeding and was fined $583 and $175.

Gustavo Pineda, 38, of Nogales, Sonora, Mexico, pleaded responsible for speeding and was fined $134.

Joanne Showers, 49, of Vail, pleaded responsible for speeding and was fined $134.

Edith Harrison, 46, of Rio Rico, pleaded responsible for speeding and was fined $135.

Blake Vernon,24, of Amado, pleaded responsible for speeding and was fined $135.

Dale Polen, 37, of Arivaca, pleaded responsible for speeding and was fined $184.

Lois Martinez, 34, of Phoenix, pleaded responsible for speeding and was fined $239.

Urie Stephenson, 26, of Sahuarita, pleaded guilty for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and was fined $200.

James Miller, age and address unknown, pleaded guilty for DUI and was fined a total of $1626.28. He was also ordered to be placed on 12 months unsupervised probation (over) and to attend a MADD victim impact panel and complete alcohol and drug evaluation and treatment.

Todd Smith, 34, of Arivaca, failed to appear on a charge of no insurance and was found responsible by civil traffic default. He was fined $930.

Gabriel Galvez, 24, of Nogales, failed to appear on a charge of failing to obtain a current Arizona registration and was found responsible by civil traffic default. He was fined $143.

Warrants:

Aracely Gonzalez, 51, of Tucson, failed to appear on a charge of no log book. A warrant has been ordered.

Duane Mackey, 49, of Long Beach, Calif., failed to appear on a charge of no complete prior seven day record of duty status. A warrant has been ordered.

Reyna Rios, 30, of Tucson, failed to appear on charges of unlawful possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of paraphernalia. A warrant has been ordered.

Tony Smith, 34, of Arivaca, failed to appear on a charge of displaying fictitious plates. A warrant has been ordered.

Robert Mayber, 45, of Tucson, failed to appear three times on an extreme DUI charge. A warrant has been ordered.

Armando Bravo, 19, of Amado, failed to appear on charges of reckless driving and minor in possession of spiritous liquor. A warrant has been ordered.

Fabian Madril, 26, of Nogales, failed to appear on charges of possession of a suspended license and false reporting to law enforcement. A warrant has been ordered.

Eric Laster, 47, of Tucson, failed to appear on a charge of having an open container of spiritous liquor in vehicle compartment. A warrant has been ordered.

John Russell III, 37, of Sahuarita, failed to appear on a charge of domestic violence/disorderly conduct. A warrant has been ordered.

Kristen Haun, 37, of Sahuarita, failed to appear on a charge domestic violence/disorderly conduct. A warrant has been ordered.

Mark Gutierrez Jr., 38, of San Bernardino, Calif., failed to appear on charges of exceeding 85 mph and driving on a suspended license. A warrant has been ordered.

Rafael Cervantes, 23, of Tucson, failed to appear on a charge of driving on a suspended license. A warrant has been ordered.

Robert Mayber, 45, of Tucson, failed to appear on a charge of driving on a suspended license. A warrant has been ordered.

Adam Parra, 24, of Tucson, failed to appear six times for an offense originally occurring on March 26, 2002. An FTA (Failure to Appear) complaint and warrant has been ordered for contempt of court.

William Pine, 29, of Sierra Vista, failed to appear. An FTA complaint and warrant has been ordered for contempt of court.

Kristen Haun, 37, of Sahuarita, failed to appear for an offense originally occurring on April 22, 2005. An FTA complaint and warrant has been ordered for contempt of court.
