Lifelong friends

Sandy Parker of Green Valley and Dotti Rees of Arivaca recently hosted the annual La Junta High School Sleeping Bag Ladies Slumber Party. All 12 attendees graduated from La Junta High, Colo.in 1961 and have remained lifelong friends. This group of Sleeping Bag Ladies have been having slumber parties for the past 20 years. Classmates traveled from Missouri, Kansas, Illinois, Colorado in order to rendezvous and tour Tucson, Tubac, Arivaca, and Green Valley.
