Meditation workshop: The Rev. Maurice E. Guerette, minister of Unity in the Valley, and Mary Ann Sommers, R.SC.P., a longtime student of Sir Enath Easwaran, will facilitate a meditation workshop from 9:30 a.m. to noon, on Sunday, March 8, at the church, 17630 S. Camino de Las Quintas. Easwan’s book “Meditation — a simple 8-point program for translating spiritual ideas into daily life” with Unity concepts, will assist new mediators and those who want to renew their meditation practice. St. Patrick’s dinner: The Stephen Ministry at Green Valley Community Church is hosting a St. Patrick’s Day dinner and fashion show on Saturday, March 15, at 4 p.m. at the church. The Stephen Ministers will be modeling clothes from the 60’s Chicks Boutique. For tickets, call the church, 625-4712.
