Pima County Supervisor Ray Carroll will talk about the Green Valley water situation at 11 a.m. Friday at the Joyner-Green Valley Library.

The local Citizens Water Action Coalition organized the meeting.

Among expected things Carroll will talk about are County Administrator Chuck Huckelberry’s recent memos on water, comprehensive planning changes in the county dealing with water, regional planning efforts on water, expected impacts of the proposed Rosemont Copper mine and about the newly formed Upper Santa Cruz/Providers and Users Group.

Dick Shuman, a coalition member, said the meeting room has been reserved from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and although Carroll will have to leave early, participants can bring lunch and eat during the rest of the meeting. There’s no admission charge.

For more information call Shuman 648-0445.
