Correction

  • A letter to the editor in Sunday’s newspaper incorrectly suggested Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, D- Ariz., supported blocking a vote on the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance legislation. Giffords, in fact, wrote a letter to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., urging her to call the House back into session to deal with the intelligence bill.
