Upsets old veteran’s heart

If Neil Bernstein has it in his heart to build a monument to lawbreakers and drug-runners who wish to kill themselves by stealing across our border, I have no complaint. However, to see your fine newspaper give the article front page while showing Mr. Bernstein’s contempt for our flag by using it as a windbreaker does upset my old veteran’s heart.

If this person wishes to glorify those who break the law perhaps he should build something to help us remember John Dillinger and Bonnie and Clyde. They were also just simple lawbreakers looking for a better life but at least they stayed in their own country to do it.
