Passover: Lutheran Church of the Risen Savior will presenting “Christ is the Passover” by the Rev. Ivan Peterson at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 14. He will explain the symbolism of the Passover meal, showing how Christ has fulfilled the Passover as our Messiah. The church is at 555 S. La Canada Drive.

Golden Surviviors: The Green Valley Baptist Church will have a special service at 6 p.m., Feb. 17, to honor those couples who have been married to each other for 50 years or more.

A renewal of vows ceremony will be conducted and each participant will receive a corsage/boutonniere and a certificate. Pictures will be taken and each couple invited to share humorous or significant events during their marriage.

The service is open to any couple in the community and the public is invited to attend. Please register by Feb. 13 by calling 625-3600.

Workshop: Your body is talking to you. What is it saying? On Feb. 12 from 10 a.m. to noon, at the Center for Positive Living Bookstore, Dr. Maureen Schwehr, NMD, will teach how to listen and talk to your body based on Somato Emotional Work. Fee, $20. For information, call 625-6100.
