Lamb on the Run: Don’t try this for dinner

Ever leave something cooking on the stove when you went to work?…Pretty wretched…

…It was chicken legs for a special treat for the dogs…You could smell it before opening the door…All that was left resembled tar with a few drumsticks poking out…The most endearing thing my wife called me that night was “you dolt”…

…The dogs threatened to bite me…

  • More signs from the road, or license plates … “5KKIDS” … “FX EYES” (an opthamologist?) … “FIXN 2” … “DOGSCAR” on a car that also sported the bumper sticker “Dog is My Co-Pilot” … “THK U DAD” … “PRESLEY” … “HEY JUDE” … “PUMPKNX” … “OH SI SI” … “RAIN LOG” … and “YUCKY” on a septic pumping truck …

…And the state of Arizona says there are about 214,500 vanity plates of the 6.6 million that have been issued…

  • Fox News reports from Britain that an 11-year-old boy who had suffered from impaired hearing was suddenly healed…He put his finger in his ear and pulled out a wad of cotton that apparently been there since he was a toddler…

  • …Said his father, “It was incredible—his hearing returned to normal in an instant”…He had been diagnosed as deaf in his right ear when he was two…

…Didn’t his mama ever wash his ears?…

  • And more news of the weird…A couple of guys in Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia stole a grown cow and put her into the back seat of their car and tried to drive away…It probably wasn’t a Beetle…Villagers saw the heist and gave chase and in their haste the drivers crashed into a tree…They got out and ran, but the cow didn’t survive the crash…

    …Wasn’t wearing a seat belt…

  • And more from the animal front…A woman in Akron, Mich., wanted to sell her horse, but her classified ad inexplicably was listed under “Good Things to Eat” in two different papers…

…The owner said she got 60 or so calls from people interested in horse meat…A grandfather eventually bought the 3-year-old mare, Foxy. He wanted a horse for his grandchildren…She got about $200…

" I liked the article. It gives good basic info about some ways to prevent problems with your pets teeth or at least to lessen a future dental problem if it should arise. I would however like to be able to find reference about vets in my area that have experience with pet dental health through continued education and more importantly, their real experience in. Ie. how many dental cleanings and extractions have they done and at what rate of success compared to a state average or a local average. It would also be nice to be able to link from here to someplace that keeps track of adverse findings and/or complaints against vets. This would help the pet owners and their pets stay very much and is a much needed service with so many vets out there today "
