Plenty of paper!
Mary Jane Jones, chairperson of the 2007 Newcomers 25 luncheon and brunch, drops off a donation of $500 worth of paper goods to the Green Valley Community Food Bank earlier this week. As well as giving to the Food Bank, the group also made donations to Hands of a Friend, The Animal League of Green Valley and Continental School District. Jones said the group is “proud to be able to help local charities.” They also thanked Green Valley and Tubac merchants, as well as Trader Joe’s in Tucson who helped support Newcomers’ events.
