Women’s retreat set for Feb. 9

A women’s retreat sponsored by Lutheran Church of the Risen Savior will be held on Saturday, Feb. 9, at the church, 555 La Canada Drive.

Featured speaker will be Deaconess Grace Rao, district mercy coordinator for the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod World Relief and Human Care.

A native of India, she has traveled all over the world. Her talk and Bible study will focus on the retreat’s theme: “Peace.”

The retreat begins at 8 a.m. with a continental breakfast and includes lunch, musical entertainment and Bible study, ending at 3 p.m.

Cost is $15.
