The Maverick “King of Clubs” presents country music artists Restless Heart in concert Sunday as a benefit for the Boys & Girls Club.

Restless Heart, a four-time Grammy nominee and seven-time Country Music Association nominee, will launches its 25th Anniversary tour in Tucson.

Tickets are exclusively available at the Boys & Girls Club administrative offices located on Grant Road, just East of Country Club, in Tucson. Make a $50 donation to the Boys & Girls Club, and receive a free general admission ticket.

Limited VIP tickets include a post concert party with Restless Heart and are available for $100 donation.

The Maverick doors open at 6 p.m. Sunday. Dinner and beverages will be available.

The opening act at 7 p.m. is Southern Arizona’s Jack Bishop, and at 8 p.m., Restless Heart takes the stage.

The Restless Heart concert is part of the ongoing “Charity Concert Series” at the Maverick, said Jay and Melinda Zucker, managing partners of Western Showcase, LLC. The Maverick owners pay the cost of the artist, donate the use of the club and donate the tickets to a selected Tucson non-profit.

“We plan to host these charity events monthly in a special Sunday Showcase”, Jay Zucker said. “This provides donations from those who may not necessarily contribute to that specific organization, while rewarding them with a free concert for their generosity”.

Last month, the Maverick hosted actor and artist John Corbett as a benefit for Junior Achievement and the Diaper Bank of Southern Arizona.

Future charity converts include the Bellamy Brothers and Asleep at the Wheel.
