Fibromyalgia Support Group of Green Valley meets at 12:15 p.m. at Friends in Deed, 301 W. Camino Casa Verde. Bring a brown bag lunch; coffee provided. Dr. Gregory K. Pima County Community Development Neighborhood Conservation Department will be conducting a workshop regarding Community Development Block Grants available to non-profit organizations. It will be at 2 p.m. at the Ellie Towne Flowing Wells Community Center, 1660 W. Ruthrauff Road, Tucson. The grant dollars are available for lowo- to moderate-income residents. Jan. 15

Democratic Club of the Santa Rita Area will open a Democratic Headquarters at 10 a.m. at Green Valley Mall #70 (north side). Hours through February will be Tuesday-Friday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. In March, the headquarters will be open Monday-Saturday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with the Democratic Women in Action responsible for Saturdays. Registration forms, information on elections and candidates, bumper stickers , etc., available.
