Continental Vistas Homeowners’ study group meets at 10 a.m. at the home of President Buckel, 527 W. Paseo Prado.

Jan. 10

TOPS (Take Pounds Off Sensibly) meets every Thursday at 8 a.m. in La Perla at La Posada.

Good Sam, Green Valley Roadrunners Chapter, will have a breakfast meeting at 8:30 a.m. at Arizona Family Restaurant. All RVers welcome. For information, call Mike ‘Eman, 625-8015.

Fibromyalgia Support Group of Green Valley meets at 12:15 p.m. at Friends in Deed, 301 W. Camino Casa Verde. Bring a brown bag lunch; coffee provided. Dr. Gregory K. Titans Cribbage Club meets every Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at Casa Community Center, 780 S. Park Centre, near La Posada. Players of all skill levels welcome. There will be refreshments. Pima County Community Development Neighborhood Conservation Department will be conducting a workshop regarding Community Development Block Grants available to non-profit organizations. It will be at 2 p.m. at the Ellie Towne Flowing Wells Community Center, 1660 W. Ruthrauff Road, Tucson. The grant dollars are available for lowo- to moderate-income residents. Aero Club of Arizona meets at Friends in Deed, 301 W Camino Casa Verde. Coffee and donuts at 9:30 a.m., meeting at 10 a.m. Maj. Gen. Don Shepperd, a veteran fighter pilot with numerous missions in Vietnam and a recognized authority on the Middle East, will speak. All members urged to attend. Guests welcome. Gold Wing Road Riders Association Chapter G (Southern Arizona) meets at 8:15 a.m. at the San Ignacio Golf Club, 4201 S. Camino del Sol. Jan. 15

Democratic Club of the Santa Rita Area will open a Democratic Headquarters at 10 a.m. at Green Valley Mall #70 (north side). Hours through February will be Tuesday-Friday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. In March, the headquarters will be open Monday-Saturday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with the Democratic Women in Action responsible for Saturdays. Registration forms, information on elections and candidates, bumper stickers , etc., available. Jan. 16

Tri-State Club will have a dinner meeting at 5 p.m. at West Center. The catered chicken Marsala dinner will be followed by entertainment by Los Changuitos Feos. Reservations due by Jan. 10. Montana/Dakota Club will have a luncheon starting at 11:30 a.m. at Rex Ranch. Menu: chicken, fijitas, iced tea, coffee. $19 per person. Make checks payable to the club.
