THERON HOKANSON passed away Dec. 24, 2007.

He was born Nov. 25, 1925, in Hibbing, Minn.

Theron is survived by Elaine, his wife of 61 years; children Cheryl (Leonard) Hallesy, Mark (Cindy) Hokanson, Carla (Jim) Burmeister and Craig Hokanson; and brother George Hokanson. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and 2 great-grandsons.

Theron served in the U.S. Navy in WWII and attended the University of Minnesota. He spent 37 years in sales for National Biscuit Co.

He retired in 1987 and had been a resident of Green Valley since then. He and Elaine were longtime members of Desert Hills Lutheran Church.

A memorial service will be held at Desert Hills Lutheran Church in the near future and in Mound, Minn. at a later date.
