Equestrians help open Anza Trail

Dinner is served!
Patti Daugherty, one of 25 volunteers, served Christmas dinner to guests at the Masonic Lodge in Sahuarita on Christmas Day at an event sponsored by the Salvation Army.

Nan Walden, on her mare Agracie Girl V and her husband Dick Walden with Dick’s mother, Bobbi Burkholder, center, were on hand recently at the dedication ceremony to mark the opening of the Anza Multi-Use Path, a segment of the Juan Bautista de Anza National Historic Trail.
