Packers renew storied rivalry in Chicago
Editor's Note: This NFL season, the Green Valley News is focusing on seven NFL teams, the Arizona Cardinals, Dallas Cowboys, Denver Broncos, Chicago Bears, Green Bay Packers, Detroit Lions and Minnesota Vikings
We picked the Cardinals as Arizona's team. A recent poll showed the Cowboys in a statistical dead heat with the Cardinals when Arizona residents were asked to name their favorite NFL team. Before the Cardinals moved to Arizona, the Cowboys and Broncos were shown nearly every week on local affiliates, building major fan support in the area.
The Bears, Packers, Lions and Vikings were chosen because many Green Valley residents have moved here from the Midwest. Loyalties remain with their home teams.
