A Green Valley holiday tradition will be happening Friday, Dec. 7, when the Continental Shopping Plaza holds its 28th annual Holiday Open House. Plaza merchants will be displaying their finest holiday merchandise, and from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., all the participating merchants will have refreshments in their stores.

AND, each will be giving away $75 dollars in gift certificates.

From 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., Tom Chambers, well-known Western singer, will perform in the Courtyard. At 6 p.m. the Tucson Arizona Boys’ Chorus will give its annual Green Valley performance.

There is no monetary charge, but everyone is asked to bring a can of food for the Community Food Bank. Refreshments will be provided.

In a change from previous years, Santa Claus will be in the Courtyard on Saturday, from 10:30 a.m. to noon to visit with children. A free Polaroid photo will be given to each of his visitors, along with small gifts from Santa.

The merchants of Continental Shopping Plaza invite the community to enjoy their warm hospitality and special holiday items, and of course the spectacular entertainment provided by the Tucson Boys’ Chorus.
