Titans Cribbage Club will host games tonight at 6:30 p.m. at Casa Community Center, near La Posada, 780 Park Centre Ave. Players of all skill levels, including beginners, are welcome. The Goldwater Institute will have its award dinner at 7 p.m. at the Phoenician Hotel in Phoenix. Ayaan Hirsi Ali, author of “Infidel,” will be honored. She was born in Somalia and grew up in a series of strict Islamic homes, escaped an arranged marriage by fleeing to Amsterdam and eventually became a member of the Dutch Parliament. A strong voice against the suppression of Muslim women, she now lives in the United States. There will be keynote remarks by Steve Forbes, president and chief executive officer of Forbes Inc. and editor-in-chief of Forbes Magazine.
