Costumed actors, such as Hector Sosa (above playing a Spanish officer Saturday afternoon) portray life at that time. The celebration, which continues today, also includes events such as mariachi music and cowboy rope tricks. The presidio is located at 1 Burruel St. in Tubac off Interstate 19, exit 34.
