Published: Tuesday, September 4, 2007 10:30 PM MST

Volunteer instructors are needed to teach adults English, GED or citizenship classes at Sahuarita High and Sopori schools.

Instructors will work with small groups of three to six students.

A teaching background is not required, just a willingness to work with adults who are trying to achieve their goals.

Books, supplies and training will be offered to all instructors.

Anyone interested can call Jane or Tom Burns at 399-0750.

Students can register for classes at Sopori School on Monday, Sept. 10, at 6 p.m. Classes in English, GED preparation and citizenship preparation will be held every Monday evening.

All are free.

Registration for classes at Sahuarita High School will be in the library on Thursday, Sept. 13, at 6 p.m., with free English, GED and citizenship classes held on Thursday evenings.
