Giffords will hold briefing on Israeli trip

U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, just back from a trip to Israel, will hold a community briefing today about her trip and issues facing that country.

The event will be at noon at the Tucson Jewish Community Center, 3800 East River Road in Tucson.

Giffords joined 17 other U.S. representatives who flew to Israel last Friday to meet with Israeli government officials and community leaders.

Her invitation to today’s meeting said, “Hear her insights from this trip and her perspectives on the current situation in the region."
