Parking closures at Green Valley Mall
The Green Valley Mall will be closing portions of its parking lots over the next week for removal of trees:

Monday, the large lot on the east side of Beall’s and Ace Hardware will be closed entirely all the way down to the Texaco station.

Tuesday, Parking behind the Chase and Compass banks will be closed.

Wednesday, as well as on Friday, the parking behind the Best Western and most of the parking on the south portion of the mall will be closed.

Thursday, the parking lot behind Ace Hardware and Beall’s will be closed.

GVCCC schedule for August
The Green Valley Community Coordinating Council has scheduled the following for the month:

Aug. 8, Executive Board, 1:30 p.m., conference room

Aug. 16, Representatives from Sen. Jon Kyl and Rep. Gabrielle Giffords will hear residents’ complaints, concerns, from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. at GVCCC.

Aug. 23, Architectural Committee, 9 a.m., conference room

Every Monday, representative from the state Attorney General’s office will hear residents’ complaints, concerns, 1 to 3 p.m.

Every fourth Thursday, representative from the Women’s Commission, 1 to 3 p.m., GVCCC offices.

A reminder: the office is observing summer hours, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m..
