Movie night: Tonight is First Friday Movie Night at Unity Church of Green Valley, 17630 W. Camino de las Quintas, Sahuarita (across from Anamax Park). Showing at 7 p.m. will be “Illusions,” a Spiritual Cinema classic starring Kirk Douglas as an ailing film producer who faces his past with a visit from a ghostly colleague. This film is for the adult in the family.

25th Anniversary: Cornerstone Baptist Church is celebrating its 25th anniversary Sunday and Monday, June 3-4. The programs at the church, 18280 S. La Canada Drive, Sahuarita, will begin with Sunday School at 9:45 a.m., followed by morning worship at 10:45, a free meal that is open to the public, and another service after the meal, says Pastor John Leonard.There will not be the usual 6 p.m. service.

On Monday, the church will host a 7 p.m. performance by the Ambassador Baptist College ensemble from Latimore, N.C. This is free and open to the public. For information call the church, 625-1737.

Combined concert: The Chancel Choir of Christ Church United Methodist and the Tucson MasterSingers, both under the direction of John Perkins, will present a free combined concert on Sunday, June 10, at 2 p.m. in the sanctuary of CCUM, 655 N. Craycroft, Tucson. Works of Gershwin, Ray, Thompson, Copland, Brahms, Medelssohn, Handel, Monteverdi, Schutz, and Weelkes will be featured.
