NewsEditor: This is to Master of Public Health in Epidemiology (Disease Transmissions), W.J. Maier, MD: If you would re-read my article, you will notice I didn’t claim to be a scientist, as “disbelievable” as that may seem. You say in your article, “I THINK there is plenty of evidence to support the “CONCEPT” of global warming as a danger to our planet.” Well, if this is what YOU THINK, that’s fine, although a Master’s degree certainly isn’t a Doctorate. I simply quoted experts and documentation, not what I thought. When you simply “.com” 1. Heidelberg Appeal to Heads of States and Governments, and 2. UN Kyoto Protocol, r.e. a petition published by a large group of scientists headed by the former president of the National Academy of Sciences regarding the UN Kyoto Protocol, you might see the disparity between the EPA, NCDE and these two items I referred to. Fortunately we don’t live in a country where thousands of these respected scientists in their fields, directly related to climate, have been imprisoned or tortured and disappeared. They are still out there, although you won’t hear them on the major news sources (something about conflict of interest!). On the other hand, if you choose to only read and believe “experts” who agree with your “concept” of global warming, then you wouldn’t understand them any better than you did me.
