Christine’s has new owner

Christine Taylor has sold her hair salon on Camino Del Sol to Jan Nelson.

Christine will continue to work with Jan and the two have blended their talents nicely, they say.

Upon meeting in February the two found they shared a common bond in the multi faceted business of styling hair for both men and women.

Jan comes to Green Valley from Somerset, Wis. and Stillwater, Minn.

Having been a salon owner since 1994 and in the hair business for 40 years, Jan has a long successful history of professionalism and talent.

Her expertise is in cutting and perming.

She has honed skills of designing perms to fit the individual.

She has developed a perm technique that resembles natural curl and has successfully demonstrated this technique since 1975 to fit the most current hair styles.

Short hair cuts are her claim to fame.

She has already demonstrated those skills with women of Green Valley and Tucson, having been employed by another salon in Green Valley and managing a salon in Tucson.

Jan will be taking ownership of Christine’s on April 2.

Jan and Christine are inviting the public to be a part of this transition with an open house to be held on April 11 from noon to 5 p.m. The salon is at 3290 S. Camino del Sol, Ste. 160. Phone is 625-7780.
