Barb Hunt, program manager, left; Roberta Konen, administrative assistant; Marilyn Roberts, volunteer coordinator; Bonnie Bendtsen, volunteer; and Jay Bendsten, GVAS eligibility assistant, assemble the “Soup ‘N Stuff” cookbook in support of ‘Empty Bowls,’ a fundraiser to remind the public of hunger in the community. Books will be for sale at $4.99 at Valley Presbyterian Church, Saturday, March 31, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Stop by, have some soup, take home your handmade pottery soup bowl and your time-tested recipes from some of Green Valley’s best cooks.
