Published: Sunday, March 4, 2007 12:46 AM MST

Paintings “from the beginning” of her art experience will be displayed by Green Valley artist Patricia Roach at Hilltop Gallery, March 3-28. A reception to meet the artist will be held this afternoon, March 4, from 1 to 4 p.m.

“The beginning was a gift from my husband for watercolor painting lessons several years ago. I’ve been painting ever since,” said Roach.

“I’ve tried my hand with all mediums and have enjoyed every one.”

Roach is a member of the Santa Rita Art League and served as president for five years.

She was instrumental in establishing the Santa Rita Art League’s Art Studio in Santa Rita Springs Center.

She paints nearly every day and has shown in Green Valley and at the Hilltop Gallery. Many paintings will be available for purchase.

Hilltop Gallery is located in Nogales, Ariz. just east of the corner of Ellis and Marina Street at 730 Hilltop Drive.

The gallery is open every day from 12:30 t0 4:30 p.m.
