Continental board sets March agenda

Continental School District will hold its monthly Governing Board meeting on Monday, March 5, at 6:30 in the school library.
The following items are listed for action and discussion on the Consent Agenda:
Donation of a 36-inch flat screen television
Three fundraising activities for Girls' Volleyball between March 13 and May 4.
Resignation of the speech pathologist
Recognition of the ADEQ Bus Award received on Feb. 27.
Action items to be discussed under Old Business include:
8th Grade Pilot Program Continuation
Review, revise and adopt 2007 Board goals Action items to be discussed under New Business include:
Approval of $10,000 from Music Program Tax Credit Donation for reimbursement for extracurricular activities by band director.
Approval of Contract Addendum for Brooke Chesney and After School Book Club.
Approval of Second Reading of revised board policies No. 281, 282 and 283.
Provide for payment of unused sick leave for one employee
Approve tax certificate with Bank of America
Increase fees for community use of school facilities
Status of 915 money.
Legislation affecting schools
Financial actions prescribed by Board policies
Consideration to approve vouchers for payment
Budget review by Dr. Leo
Collaborative update by Dick Roberts
